Margaret Howell is a contemporary British clothing designer who has worked successfully in men’s and women’s clothing for over five decades. Today, Margaret Howell clothes are sold worldwide with 12 own shops in Europe, over 100 outlets in Japan and an established online business.

We are seeking a highly motivated retail professional to sell our MHL. womenswear and menswear collection at our MHL. shop in Coal Drops Yard, Kings Cross. 

As a Senior Sales Assistant, you will provide an exceptional level of customer service, meeting or exceeding expectations consistently. You will be a team player and be able to undertake supervisory responsibilities in the absence of senior managers. You should demonstrate a genuine interest in fashion and design, serving as a brand ambassador at all times.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES

- provide an exceptional level of service

- maintain standards of presentation and housekeeping

- work to achieve or exceed sales target

- give advice and information to customers about the collection

- handle and maintain stock accurately and efficiently, including taking part in periodic stock takes

- support with development of new team members, lead by example and model behaviour reflecting the Company’s core values and the Retail Code of Conduct

- supporting management with digital paperwork

- key hold and manage when required (including opening and closing shop)

- undertake supervisory duties as required, including administrative tasks and managing day to day shop floor operations when senior managers are not present
 

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

- previous experience in high-end retail sales

- self-motivated and focused on quality

- excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills

- ability to multitask, prioritise and delegate tasks

- an interest in womenswear, menswear and design

- demonstrate initiative, taking every opportunity to apply collection knowledge in promotion of the brand

- computer literate with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  

HOURS

34.5 hours per week, subject to the fixed Kings Cross Rota.
